At our initial consultation, we will examine your teeth and discuss your goals. Based on your diagnosis and preferences, we will together determine a game plan and review costs and financing options. If you are ready to move forward, we take photos and offer a virtual design to preview your new smile and see what types of changes are possible. At this appointment we will also complete a digital scan that is sent to our expert veneer technicians.
Before you arrive, we will receive a wax-up or physical model from the lab that shows planned restorations in wax on a cast of your existing teeth. This model shows how the veneers will be applied to achieve an optimal look and function. Dr. (name) will use the wax up to create temporary veneers.
During this appointment, Dr. (name) will prepare your teeth and place temporary veneers. He will trim a small amount of enamel during this appointment, if required. You will leave our office with a new smile. At the appointment and during the week following, you have an opportunity to communicate any adjustments or modifications that need to be incorporated into your permanent veneers.

Porcelain Veneers are a thin shell of durable, high-quality ceramic material that is individually designed and permanently adhered to each tooth for a natural look. The high-quality veneers used by Airport Dent are made of hand-layered porcelain and are exclusively crafted for the most beautiful and natural appearance. Porcelain veneers often allow the dentist to preserve the majority of the existing tooth structure while achieving long-lasting smile rejuvenation.
We use high-quality feldspathic porcelain for veneers because it is a highly translucent, appealing material for restorations that offers the most natural appearance. The material is fabricated with the traditional veneering porcelain powder and liquid brush buildup technique. Our veneers are created in the top aesthetic veneer laboratory in New York. All these factors ensure an optimal result, but they also increase the cost of our veneers. We consider veneers a long-term solution, but they are not permanent. In the industry, 10 years is considered a successful veneer lifespan, but they can be worn for 20 or 30 years. It is possible for veneers to chip or wear down like a natural tooth. The color of a veneer never fades however the tooth can discolor over time, and as gums will shrink they may not look as age appropriate. Patients may return to replace them for a more refreshed look. It is important to note, veneers will last longer if they are taken care of properly with the recommended dental hygiene and minimal teeth grinding.
Veneers can chip if patients grind their teeth or encounter irregular trauma to an area, just like natural teeth. It is extremely unlikely with our special bonding techniques for a patient’s veneers to ever fall off. To date, we have never encountered veneer de-bonding.
